Adult Care Services

We provide high quality residential care for older people, people with dementia and adults with complex care needs. We offer domiciliary care and supported living apartments for adults with learning difficulties or those who may need assistance to live independently. Our day service provides a range of meaningful activities for people with physical and learning disabilities.

Children and Families

We operate New Routes fostering agency, a friendly service that recruits foster parents and carefully matches them with looked-after children. Training, ongoing support and advice are key features of this service.

Our Origins service supports people whose lives have been affected by adoption through the society, child migration schemes, and those who lived in one of Father Hudson’s homes as a child. We offer a tracing service and can act as an intermediary in arranging reunions.

Our Family Support Workers support children and their families who are experiencing a wide range of difficulties, particularly where they are affecting the child’s welfare and educational achievement. The service benefits the child, the family and the school.

Community Projects

We work collaboratively with local communities to develop their own services that meet local needs. These diverse projects include practical support to those who are at risk, living in poverty or who are affected by domestic violence or substance abuse. We provide advisory services, workshops, and training on various topics including English lessons, debt management, asylum and immigration. We accommodate and support people at risk of homelessness and destitution. Our community projects reach out to isolated and vulnerable people from all walks of life.
