Young at Heart has been running since 2013, and was created to combat loneliness, and give people aged 55 and over a place to socialise and make new friends. We are all about providing a safe and welcoming environment for people who might otherwise feel isolated.

Community Garden

Our community garden opened in June 2026 after years of planning! We worked in partnership with futures2gether and Church at the Crossing to create this wonderful space.

Donations towards plants and garden items are welcome.

We facilitate a range of groups in local community venues, across Stoke on Trent and New Castle Under Lyme. Our groups run weekly, and are varied so please contact us so we can match you to your ideal group.

Intergenerational Connections

We work with other organisations to bring generations together and connect. We offer intergenerational sessions with Alice Charity, Breathe New Life Church and Kath Reynolds Reminiscence offering entertainment, games, food and fun!

When I first came here I only knew one volunteer and now the other volunteers are my friends.
