On 3rd July we launched our Pilgrimage Walk around Birmingham City Centre. Schools and parishioners joined us to try the walk, with refreshments available at the Grimshaw Room in St Chad’s Cathedral.

Students wrote messages of hope in the Peace Gardens using chalk and in the Grimshaw Room using pens.
Archbishop Bernard Longley wrote the introduction to the Pilgrimage Walk booklet. Physical booklets are available in St Chad’s Cathedral and St Philip’s Cathedral during their opening hours or can be downloaded here Pilgrimage Booklet.
Before the day runs away with me I just wanted to say how much both the staff and students enjoyed the walk today. What a fantastic project for us to be involved, particularly as we reflect at the academic year on all we have done and what we can do further to demonstrate our faith in action.
