This is usually a busy time of year for Father Hudson’s Care, as we celebrate the culmination of our annual Good Shepherd Appeal.
After months of fundraising and collecting money, children from schools across the Archdiocese join us at a series of Good Shepherd Masses where they present the raised money towards our work. This year Covid-19 has brought new challenges to all our projects. Our usual assemblies had to be cancelled, school fundraising events couldn't go ahead, and the seven Masses were replaced with one livestreamed event celebrated by Archbishop Bernard.
But we still want to celebrate the work of children, their families, and the school staff to raise vital funds during this challenging time.
This year we have created some fun activities that children can complete in school or at home with their families. There are different activities for Key Stage 1, Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3.
We hope that you find these interesting and useful. We would like to share your work - please tag us on social media or contact goodshepherd@fatherhudsons.org.uk.
In addition to this we have started an online donation page. This means children and families can pass donations on directly to projects that are helping people through this crisis.
