COVID-19 Update from Father Hudsons Care

New Routes Fostering

New Routes is the registered fostering agency of Father Hudson’s Care. We are a small, friendly team focused on the wellbeing and outcomes of the children and young people we support. Based near Birmingham, we welcome enquiries from people living in the Midlands. The service has been provided by Father Hudson’s Care since 1992.

New Routes fostering was rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted at the most recent inspection of January 2018. We are a preferred fostering provider of many local authorities in the area and receive many requests for children and young people to live with our foster carers.

Watch our video below to find out what fostering means to three of our foster carers.

We pride ourselves on the quality of the service and support offered to foster carers; we take care to match children and young people with carers who can meet their needs. With the welfare of children and young people at the heart of all we do, we ensure all children and young people cared for by New Routes foster carers reach their full potential. Our foster carers are well supported and trained in order that they can achieve this.

As a small, friendly team, we get to know each carer and every child or young person so we can provide the best support specific to the situation. Staff, children and foster carers all work together. We provide ongoing support, training and social events for our foster carers, children and young people.
