On Friday 24th April Rachel Taylor, MP for North Warwickshire and Bedford, visited Father Hudson’s Caritas.
As the local MP for Coleshill we invited her to come and visit the Father Hudson’s Caritas site in Coleshill, with a tour around the FHC Head Office, St George’s House. Rachel also visited our Adult Care facilities including: St Joseph’s Care Home; Supported Living & Domiciliary Care; St Catherine’s Bungalows; and Coleshill Day Services.

We were pleased to welcome the Right Honourable Rachel Taylor to Father Hudson's Caritas. Rachel had a full tour of our site and a number of our Adult Care services. She was really interested in hearing about how the site has changed and developed over the 124 years we have been based here. She also enjoyed meeting both young and older residents at our residential care facilities, seeing first-hand the difference that a social care charity makes. Thank you to Rachel for taking the time out of her busy schedule to visit and spend time with us late on a Friday afternoon.
St Joseph's Care Home
Annie Frost, Deputy Manager of St Joseph's, welcomed Rachel, who met and chatted with our residents.
Rachel also toured Coleshill Day Services with the Manager, Karen McPherson. Here they are in Day Service’s sensory room, which offers different lighting, sounds and sensory experiences for our clients.
St Catherine's Bungalows and Domiciliary Care & supported Living
Joanne Watters and Kevin Hateley gave Rachel a walking tour of our Coleshill sites, including St Catherine's Bungalows and Domiciliary Care and Supported Living. Rachel Taylor met staff from the Bungalows, and two of our residents, Rachel and Ella.
