Brushstrokes is an award winning project with a national reputation working in partnership with Father Hudson’s Care, the IJ & OLCGS Sisters and the parish of St Philip Neri, Smethwick. The project is well established with a proven track record in supporting refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Sandwell and surrounding areas.

Due to recent expansion we are recruiting to the exciting new role of Operations Manager.  The post holder will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day operations, line-manage Service Coordinators, ensure the effective monitoring and reporting of our services, project manage a number of projects and deputise when required for the Project Manager. 

Candidates will have substantial experience of managing projects and staff in a community setting, with an understanding of issues faced by refugees, asylum seekers and migrants.  Brushstrokes is a busy project, therefore the ability to work on your own initiative as well as being part of a team, be organized and able to priortise, flexible and adaptable and to be able to make decisions in a calm manner is essential.

Candidates are required to have knowledge and experience of monitoring systems and be skilled in report writing and project management.
