Brushstrokes is an award winning project with a national reputation working in partnership with Father Hudson’s Care, the IJ & OLCGS Sisters and the parish of St Philip Neri, Smethwick. The project is well established with a proven track record in supporting refugees, asylum seekers and migrants in Sandwell and surrounding areas.

Due to recent expansion we are recruiting to the exciting new role of Finance and Contracts Officer. The post holder will ensure the smooth running of day-to-day Finance operations, working closely with the Project manager ,the Operations manager, Service coordinators, and the staff team to ensure effective financial management and implementation of effective procedures.

You will receive excellent support from the Father Hudson’s Care Finance manager who has a long-standing detailed knowledge of Brushstrokes’ finances and services. For two days a week the officer will be based in Coleshill in the Finance department of Father Hudson’s and one day a week at Brushstrokes in Smethwick.

This is a new post and you will have the opportunity to both contribute your expertise to a growing project and learn new skills in managing finances in the Third sector, with funding from Local authorities, Central government, Trusts, Foundations and the Lottery.
