Father Hudson’s Care has a vacancy for a Family Support Worker to provide a range of support services to address social and emotional needs of children and their families. We are looking for an experienced Family Support Worker with knowledge and skills to undertake direct work with vulnerable primary aged children and their families. This is a school based role.


Location:        The Rosary Catholic Primary School, Bridge Road, Saltley, Birmingham, B8 3SF. 

Hours:            7.5hours per week (one day)


The salary scale for this post is SCP 27-30 paid at £25,320 – £28,070per annum, pro rata.  


Working with schools, health and social care agencies and the voluntary sector, our Family Support Service supports children and families to overcome adversity and disadvantage they face, particularly where these are affecting a child’s emotional wellbeing, mental health and educational achievement. The service benefits the child, the family and the school.
