COVID-19 Update from Father Hudsons Care

Recognition for Origins' outstanding support

Ofsted outstanding 2

The excellent work of the Origins service has been officially recognised as, once again, it has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted.

Father Hudson’s Care understands how discovering one’s past can enhance one’s personal identity, bring healing and help with moving forward. Therefore, after Father Hudson’s ceased to be involved in arranging adoptions, it registered as an adoption support agency to continue supporting adults affected by adoption.

As a registered agency, Origins is regulated by Ofsted and undergoes inspections to ensure it meets their high standards.

Ofsted visited Origins in July and in the inspection report, which was published on 14 September, they rated the service Outstanding—the highest award possible.

Father Hudson’s Care wishes to congratulate Siobhán Clemons, Manager, and Maria Gallagher, Administrator, on their success.

Origins provides support to people affected by a childhood separation from their family of origin, either through adoption or by having lived in care. To find out more, or to access their services, please visit the Origins section of this website.
