Reaching Out, Christmas 2019

Reaching Out, Christmas 2019

We are pleased to share the latest edition of Reaching Out, the newsletter for our supporters.

This newsletter captures a small amount of the work our staff and volunteers do every day to care for people who are vulnerable or experiencing adversity. In it you will read about Brushstrokes Community Project as it strives to meet the growing need for its services, and you will read a tribute to Adrian, who died recently. There is also a story of how a young student is bringing joy to older people; an update from St Joseph’s Care Home; and news from Hope Community Project.

As we head into Advent and prepare for Christmas, it gives us a chance to reflect on 2019. We have celebrated with our residents as they enjoy birthdays and achieve their dreams, we have shared the joy of our projects as they have helped people to make changes in their lives, and we have mourned the deaths of friends whom we hold dear in our hearts. And as we look towards 2020, we resolve to continue doing all that we can to care for, support and empower the people we work with. Our work is only possible thanks to the continued generosity of our supporters who give their time and prayers, who donate food, clothes and toys, and who support us financially. We hope that you will continue to support us over the coming year, as there is still much to do.

Thank you.
