Maryvale School donates food hampers

Hamper

Children from Maryvale Catholic Primary School have kindly donated Christmas hampers to be given out to elderly people in the area.

Brimming with tins and packets of festive food, the hampers were carefully wrapped and delivered to the Maryvale Community Project where they will be distributed to older people who are living alone and who are supported by the project.

The school's kind donation will help to bring some happiness to older people, and show that kindness and generosity are alive in children and young people.

Based in Old Oscott, Maryvale Community Project supports older people and disabled people through regular social clubs and a telephone befriending service. To find out more about the services they offer, visit Maryvale Community Project's website
