Friels raise funds to help people experiencing homelessness

TH bed

Walsall-based housebuilder and groundworks company, Friels, raised a fantastic £7,000 at a recent St Patrick’s Day event for their chosen charities. The company matched this amount, meaning they donated £14,000 to people in need locally.

The funds have been divided between Father Hudson’s Care, Acorns Children’s Hospice and the cancer ward at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham.

The funds donated to Father Hudson’s are in aid of Birmingham night shelter, Tabor House, which offers people experiencing homelessness a helping hand to make a fresh start. Father Hudson’s Care and the staff and volunteers at Tabor House are grateful to Friels’ staff and to the company for their support. The donation will help us support some of Birmingham's most vulnerable rough sleepers.

A simple £20 donation enables the project to provide a bed, hot meal, breakfast and support to move on for one guest for one night. If you would like to donate to Tabor House, please visit their Just Giving page
