Festive fun in Kidsgrove

Dancing and live music

On 16 December the Kidsgrove Friendship Group threw a Christmas party to bring some festive fun to older people in the area.

There was a special visit from Santa who brought presents for everyone who came and from Labour Councillor Kyle Robinson. Cllr Robinson chatted to the older people and helped them open their presents, and met with staff, volunteers and community partners.

Arranged by Matt Ford, Project Development Officer, the celebration included food and drinks, a game of bingo with help from Father Julian, and singing and dancing to live entertainment. Those who came had a great time and Cllr Robinson called the party a “huge success.”

Matt arranged the party as he wanted to ensure that the older people who the project supports had the chance to celebrate Christmas with their friends.
