COVID-19 Update from Father Hudsons Care

Can you support St Vincent's fundraising?

Staff and tenants at St Vincent’s House have been raising funds to help them purchase some garden furniture.

Staff organised for a jar to be kept in the entrance for anyone who wishes to add their spare change into, and they have sold freshly made brownies in return for donations. Kevin Masters, Support Worker, has also been selling handmade jewellery kindly donated by a friend.

Kevin said: “A very dear friend willingly donated some handmade jewellery for our fundraising efforts here at St Vincent’s. She is bed bound due to her disabilities but loves making bespoke jewellery and uses genuine crystals. These make ideal Christmas gifts  and stocking fillers. They include necklaces, bracelets, and earrings, and have raised over £30 in the first week. The total raised to date is £124.12. ”

All money raised is for the new garden furniture for the tenants at St Vincent’s. It will give tenants a place to relax and spend time with their families and friends.

To support the team with their fundraising or to find out more about the jewellery on sale, please contact a member of the Domiciliary Care team or email marked for the attention of Domiciliary Care.
