Each year, a group of volunteers organises a glitzy ball to raise funds for a certain aspect of our work.
Held in January or February, it is a fun night of dinner and dancing in aid of a good cause. With a three-course dinner, live music, silent auction and tombola, it is a lovely opportunity to enjoy a night out while supporting others.
The Ball Committee chooses one or two areas of work they would like to support. In previous years, the Committee has enabled New Routes Fostering to open a youth club, paid for the building of St Joseph's conservatory, bought essential new computers for Family Support Workers, and helped refurbish St Catherine's Day Service, as well as supporting many other projects.
There are lots of opportunities to support the Ball including volunteering for the Committee, sponsoring the event, taking an advert in the brochure, buying tickets or donating tombola prizes. To find out how to get involved, contact fundraising@fatherhudsons.org.uk. And keep your eye on the events page for details of the next Annual Fundraising Ball.
