Tabor House - volunteer open evening

Tabor House open eve crop 0319

20 March 2019

Tabor House, Birmingham’s only permanent night shelter, supports people experiencing homelessness. Through thoughtful, patient and individualised support, volunteers help guests to turn their lives around and take steps towards more permanent accomodation.

They now need volunteers to help them continue this crucial work with people experiencing homelessness.

Since opening in September 2017, Tabor House has supported ten people to move into their own accommodation. Yet more people have been supported to move back in with families or shared living arrangements. Volunteers at Tabor House assist guests with finding training, managing debt, building their employment skills – whatever they need to turn their lives around.

They are holding an open evening for people interested in learning more about volunteering with Tabor House:

Wednesday 20 March 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00pm
St Anne’s Training Room,
96 Bradford Street,
Birmingham
B12 0PY
