Young at Heart events and services

Young at Heart clubs run in Hanley, Kidsgrove, Meir Heath and Talke, offering the opportunity to socialise over a light lunch, meet new people and take part in a range of activities to improve your health and wellbeing. Young at Heart's befriending service offers companionship and support for people who are socially isolated for a variety of reasons. Volunteers visit people at their home once a week for a chat or to simply keep them company.

Please see the befriending service leaflet for full details.

Gardening services

Young at Heart is looking for volunteers to support its popular gardening service. Gardening volunteers offer help with a variety of tasks, including mowing the lawn, weeding, pruning and general garden maintenance.

Please see the Young at Heart volunteering page for full details.
