At New Routes we put the welfare of children and young people at the heart of all we do. As such, we recognise that our foster carers must be supported and valued so they can be confident in their role. We therefore provide a full induction and lots of initial support, as well as ongoing training to help you in your fostering role. There are also many opportunities to meet other foster carers, who can be an invaluable source of help and encouragement. Support groups, mentoring and social events are part of the unique service we provide.
