Simon Gillís artworks on display

Simon and painting

There was an excellent turnout today, 5 May, for Simon Gill’s art exhibition. Simon was delighted to welcome visitors from near and far, including a party of budding artists from Cardinal Newman Senior School in Coventry. All were impressed with Simon’s vivid depictions of people, animals and natural scenes, with many of the colourful artworks sold on the day. The money raised will go toward buying more art materials.

Simon attends St Catherine’s Day Service in Coleshill, run by Father Hudson’s Care. St Catherine’s provides people with learning difficulties and a variety of disabilities with activities of their choosing. For Simon this is often art, but people at St Catherine’s enjoy gardening, cookery, dancing, outings, music making and much more besides.
