Care to Walk

Care to Walk is a series of sponsored walks on behalf of Father Hudson’s Society which will take place at locations throughout the Diocese Walks have already been arranged in the following areas:

Coventry on 3rd May 2010 A great time was had, despite some inclement weather!.

Birmingham Canal Walk on 20th June 2010 (please click here for full details and joining instructions)

Alcester Walk 27th June 2010 An easy 3 mile flat walk finishing at a pub for lunch ( please click here for more details and joining instructions).

Lichfield Walk 10th July 2010 a walk along the canal at Fradley and across open fields and woodland (please click here for full details and joining instructions)

Some walks have been arranged by parishes, others by deaneries and one by the Catholic Ramblers Association. We are hoping that some of our schools and groups will also organise walks. Anybody is welcome to join any walk so if you fancy seeing another part of the Diocese now is your opportunity.

We are looking forward to the great variety of walks , town walks, country walks, long works, short walks, challenging walks, fun walks, fancy dress walks, dog walks, pram walks. We hope that participants will take lots of photographs of what we hope will be a very enjoyable event.
